Oh how i am loving leather jackets at the moment, however every time i try one on it just doesnt see to make me look half as good a Lauren Conrad, hmm funny that.

I think the best advice for getting in on this winters hottest trends is to make sure the items suit you just because its a trend does not necessarily mean it will do you justice, which brings me to my fave quote "Fashion Fades, Style is eternal" Yves Saint Laurant.

The best way to make leather look a little more feminine is to team up say a leather jacket with a pretty silk dress or floaty top and balance the look out with some great skinny jeans or leggings. Never do leather on leather or an all tough look, it is impoortant to balance the look out and try each trend in moderation.

'Boots made for walkin'

As i begin to see the plethora of biker jackets, coats and cardies flooding into the chain stores i cant seem to bring myself to try on such things when it is still so incredibly hot here on the far north coast. Today though i made my first new season purchase and i am not ashamed to say it was a pair of flat soles mid calf length chocolate suede slouch boots for $20! Yes ladies thats right $20 frm kmart and they are oh so comfy!!! And for that price - how could i not buy them? I will post some pics of them soon. They are sure to get a work out tis winter..
